The Chord (弦者, Xián zhě) is the secondary protagonist of Phantom Blade: Executioners, and one of four playable protagonists.

Her fighting style is balanced between offense and defense, featuring more options for healing than other characters.

Apasara Healer

Apasara Healer is a set of skills in a pink/orange/light yellow palette which can be accessed in the ''advanced'' section of the skills menu. They are skills of middle to long ranged combat, which deal medium to heavy damage and varying status effects.

Once the player equips at least one (Apasara Healer) skill, they can activate the Night of Romance costume from the Costumes menu. The costume depicts The Chord in an outfit consisting of an elegant dress and a headpiece with roses and butterflies. Her weapon appears as a white instrument with golden details and three sets of roses and butterflies.

Raksashi Bard

Raksashi Bard is a set of skills in a blue-and-purple palette which can be accessed in the ''advanced'' section of the skills menu. They are skills of middle to long ranged combat, usually in a distance from The Chord, which deal heavy damage and crowd control.

Once the player equips at least one (Raksashi Bard) skill, they can activate the Cold Crow costume from the Costumes menu. The costume depicts The Chord in an outfit consisting of an elaborate dress, gloves that reach to the middle of her upper arms, a headpiece which covers the upper half of her face and many accessories with blue/purple flowers. Her weapon appears as an instrument with golden details and purple strings.

Personality

The Chord is usually calm and collected, rarely appearing surprised at anything and always polite. Her dialogue options are more formal than other characters. She doesn't talk much and gets straight to the point.
